Collection: Brazilian Ebony / Boco

Brazilian Ebony is also known as Boco, Ironwood or Wamara ebony (Bocoa prouacensis). It is one of the densest woods in the world, with a density of around 1.3 (1,300 kg/m³).

Depending on the trunk and on how the boards are cut, its colour varies: plain black, black marbled with white, or white and black with a sharp contrast.

This wood takes an incredible polish and has an exceptional resonance. It is an excellent substitute for ebony, with a much finer grain.
