Pair of bookmatched knife scales in spotted Boco, also called Brazilian Ebony. One of the densest woods in the world. The white part is sapwood and the black spots are heartwood inclusions, a very rare feature. Boco sapwood is as dense as its heartwood and perfectly suited to knife handles.
The dimensions given are those of each scale of the pair.
