Snakewood (Amourette) knife block from French Guiana. This unspeckled piece of Snakewood, also called Bofo Paya, was cut at 30-45 degrees to the grain, giving multiple colours on the same block.
One end is cut at an angle. Warning: a tiny piece of wood is missing at one corner, please look closely at the photos.
