Collection: Brazilian Ebony fingerboards

All our Brazilian Ebony fingerboards, for guitar or bass.

Brazilian Ebony is also called Boco or Ironwood (Bocoa prouacensis). It is one of the densest woods in the world, with a density of around 1.3 (1,300 kg/m³).

Depending on the trunk and on how the boards are cut, its colour varies: plain black, black marbled with white, or white and black with a sharp contrast.

This wood takes an incredible polish and has an exceptional resonance. It is an excellent substitute for ebony, with a much finer grain.
