Collection: Pistachio

Pistachio (mastic tree), Pistacia lentiscus, is a shrub of the Mediterranean region. Fairly rare and small in diameter, its high-quality wood is highly prized.

The colour of its heartwood recalls that of pistachio, while its sapwood is creamy white. It is a very dense, fine-grained wood, sought after for knife handles.
