Brazilian Rosewood

Brazil has a great many rosewood species, the most famous being Rio Rosewood.

As Rio Rosewood is fully protected at the highest level (CITES Appendix I), other species with similar characteristics offer beautiful alternatives.

This is the case of the Dalbergia elegans offered on this page. A CITES certificate number is provided with every purchase.

With an extremely fine grain, this wood rings like glass.

Dense and hard, it is perfect for original knife handles.
