Collection: Madagascar Rosewood

Madagascar has dozens of rosewood species, some of which have become almost legendary.

The species offered here is Dalbergia baronii, highly prized in lutherie and knifemaking.

The wood is dense and dark, and some pieces show a figure reminiscent of Rio Rosewood.

Like all rosewoods, its trade is regulated under CITES.

The CITES certificate number is provided with every purchase of this species.
