Collection: Indian Rosewood

Indian Rosewood, Dalbergia latifolia, is probably the best known and most widely used rosewood.

It is the reference wood for guitar making, for fingerboards or for backs and sides. Its colour ranges from purple to blackish brown, with a more or less discreet figure. The wood is easy to work and has a pleasant scent.

Its density of 0.8 makes it well suited to guitar and bass fingerboards, while remaining easy to machine.
