Collection: Grignon

Grignon, Ocotea rubra, is a large tree of the forests of French Guiana. It gives a brown, fairly soft wood that may recall mahogany.

With a density of 600 kg/m³, it is easy to work, machine and glue.

It is an ideal wood for woodturning, lutherie (laminated necks, bodies) and small furniture.
