Collection: Ipe

Ipe (Ébène verte), Handroanthus serratifolius, also known as Lapacho, is a dense wood from French Guiana and Amazonia.

Its colour ranges from green to brown, with slightly yellow pores. It is a very hard wood, naturally rot-resistant.

It is perfectly suited to knifemaking, musical instrument fingerboards and woodturning. Its grain is fine and it takes a very beautiful polish.
