Collection: Cocobolo

Cocobolo, Dalbergia retusa, is a wood from Central America and Mexico, part of the rosewood family.

Its highly decorative wood ranges from yellow to brown through red.

It is a precious wood highly prized in lutherie for its looks and acoustic qualities.

Its dust is known to be irritating: a protective mask is essential.
